Award-Winning Books by Scholars of the Humanities Faculty of Arts

A veteran traveler knows better, and an avid reader turns wiser. Three Faculty scholars’ books published by The Chinese University Press received book awards: the 10th Annual Hong Kong Book Prize 2017, the First Hong Kong Publishing Biennial Awards or was selected among the ‘Ten Best Books of 2017 Hong Kong Book Fair by Economic Observer’. Winning these awards is a recognition of their social impacts in addition to their scholarly accomplishments in different disciplines. Professor Leo Ou-fan Lee has openly encouraged students: “Read a book outside your discipline of studies, think through and condense what you have learnt, you will surpass our accomplishments.” Come and pick your own choice!
