CUHK Artist-in-Residence
The Chinese University of Hong Kong has a long tradition of hosting and supporting creative artists through various programmes at the College, Faculty, and Department levels, but the CUHK Artist-in-Residence Programme, initiated in 2023, is the first to be centrally funded by the University. The Faculty of Arts takes pride in providing administrative support to make this programme a truly exciting and engaging part of campus life.
Every school year, the CUHK Artist-in-Residence Programme will host a distinguished artist, who can be a poet, an architect, a composer, or a visual artist. By organizing a series of events on campus, the programme will present the artist’s work publicly and further enhance the cultural and artistic experiences of our students and staff.
