The CUHK Faculty of Arts is delighted to announce that Professor Lam Weng Cheong (Department of Anthropology, Department of History) has been selected as the CUHK and Stanford University’s Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) Fellow for 2024 – 2025.
This nine-month residential fellowship program at Stanford University provides an opportunity for selected scholars to foster interdisciplinary intellectual exchange and contribute to advancing research and thinking in the social sciences. The program will strengthen their academic network and facilitate collaborations across academia, policy, industry, civil society, and government to collectively design a better future.
The Faculty congratulates Professor Lam on his exceptional research achievement and wishes him a fruitful and rewarding fellowship at Stanford University. This continues our tradition of excellence, following Professor Pang Lai Kwan from the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies, who was awarded the fellowship in 2021–2022.
