To mark the arrival of the Year of the Snake and to foster connections among students from various departments, the Faculty of Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK Arts) hosted a Spring Gathering in early February 2025. Students gathered to share joyful moments.
Professor Peggy Mok Pik-ki, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Arts (Student Affairs), attended the event and delivered a warm welcoming address. She welcomed international students from different parts of the world who enrolled in the Faculty for the 2024-2025 academic year, and hoped that they will enjoy studying in the world-class, multicultural learning environment at CUHK and the Faculty of Arts. She also encouraged students to participate in various activities both on and off-campus and to seize every opportunity.
During the gathering, certificates were presented to Faculty scholarship recipients in recognition of their outstanding achievements. The Faculty also awarded certificates of appreciation to the student ambassadors, expressing gratitude and acknowledgment for their active support and contributions.
We were delighted to see participating students and faculty members getting to know each other and exchanging ideas while enjoying delicious refreshments, bringing a wonderful start to the new year. We look forward to meeting more students in the near future to build closer connections.
