I joined CUHK’s Department of Anthropology as a lecturer in 2019. Earlier, I conducted two long-term ethnographies on internal and international migrants in Guangdong province; these projects have focused on the dyad privilege/discrimination, urban planning, and the mentality of governing through the lens of migrants’ space. With a similar focus, I am currently developing a research project in the Hong Kong SAR.
