Every year, the Department of Anthropology collaborates with other institutions to offer local and overseas internship opportunities to our students. Internship allows students to explore their interest and gain invaluable field experience. It is hoped that students, through taking up internships, can apply what they have learnt in classroom and enrich their work experience.
Some of the institutions we have collaborated with include the Nicholson Museum at the University of Sydney, Australia, the Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Cambridge, UK, the Antiquities and Monuments Office, HKSAR, Hong Kong Museum of History, and Hong Kong Maritime Museum. Students may explore more internship opportunities from AIESEC and Department network.
Students who are going for overseas internship can apply to Career Planning and Development Center of CUHK for financial assistance under the CUHK Global Internship Programme, or to New Asia College for funding.
