I’m a die-hard Chelsea fan and therefore am really interested in the ways why and how distant (not territorially-bounded) people could be knitting together via soccer-football. My project, originally starting from transnational fandom to the whole football industry, investigates an anthropological process of how a gendered project produces, and transforms nonlocal supporters’ interpretations, behaviors, aspiration and imaginations.
