Synopsis: 

Xu Jian, a senior student of the Putonghua Drama Club of CUHK, wanted to put the drama Beijing Fayuan Temple on the stage of the club’s spring opera, but during the rehearsal, various difficulties followed. At the same time, in the process of struggling to promote the rehearsal, the boundaries between the people in reality and the characters in the play began to become more and more blurred, and finally the long-suppressed crowd erupted into a torrent of emotions at the celebration banquet after the performance, which exceeded everyone’s initial expectations…

許健是香港中文大學普通話劇社的一名高年級學生，作爲社團的資深成員，他心心念念地想把話劇《北京法源寺》搬上社團春戲的舞臺，然而實際排練的時候，各種困難狀況接踵而至。與此同時，在艱難推動排練進度的過程中，排練場上的人們與戲中人物之間的界限開始變得越來越模糊。終於，在演出結束後的慶功宴上，壓抑已久的衆人爆發出了劇烈的情緒洪流，超出了所有人最初的預料……

《天女散花》 Flower Faerie

Synopsis: Scarlet (Ah Hong), has loved Chinese opera and traditional clothes since she was a child growing up in a rural village in Hubei. She often dreams of flying in mid-air. When her beauty salon went out of business during the pandemic, she moved to Hong Kong to work and also remarried. Together, they run a cleaning service that involves working late nights and sometimes sleeping in restaurant or hotel kitchen. Somehow, she finds time to fit in her various exciting hobbies. Although things are not always easy, she still manages to have a colorful life. After finding out about Bodhisattva Mountain in Dongguan, she felt that she had to try out its suspension wire “flying” activity, to become just like a faerie.
