My research interests revolve around body/embodiment, disability, medical anthropology, and Hong Kong studies. My dissertation project focuses on how evolving special education policies in Hong Kong shape the experiences of different generations of people with impaired vision. Moreover, this project looks at their experimentations with ways of using the body in domestic settings and public spaces. Apart from this project, I plan to review how anthropologists have thought about pleasure.
