This column is dedicated to Socially Engaged Art (SEA) Practice in the Fine Arts Department at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. This platform aims to document and share the processes, experiments, learnings, and discoveries associated with our projects. These initiatives include community-based workshops and exhibitions held off-campus, exchange programs, internship opportunities, and creative projects inspired by daily life.
Our goal is to showcase the multifaceted dimensions of socially engaged art practice and, through creation and experience, help us gain a deeper understanding of society.
