B.A., M.Phil. & D. Phil. (CUHK)
Dr. Cheung Wai Yee received her B.A. and M.Phil. degrees from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She then obtained her D.Phil. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in Chinese art history. Dr. Cheung is teaching in the Department of Fine Arts, CUHK and The Education University of Hong Kong. She teaches courses including History of Chinese Painting, Chinese Painting of the Twentieth Century, History of Chinese Calligraphy and Hong Kong Art. Her research focuses mainly on the history of Chinese painting and calligraphy from Qing to Modern period as well as Hong Kong Art. She has served as Honorary Advisor of the Visual Arts Committee of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and is currently a senior college tutor of the United College of CUHK. She received the Rising Artist Award, Hong Kong Arts Development Award (Visual Arts) .
