The Department of Fine Arts, CUHK, proudly presents Lightness/ Distance/ Intervention/ Cycling/ Mapping- Response Exhibition on Summer Field Study Programme 2017. The exhibition showcases creative responses from students who have visited the world-renowned contemporary art events- Documenta 14 and Skulptur Projekte Münster- in this summer, under the guidance of Prof. Ho Siu Kee. The works reflect on each student’s articulated individual experience with the works of art from both art events, as well as the social reality as a whole. The students’ creations advocate critically from five different points of entry, namely, Lightness, Distance, Intervention, Cycling and Mapping, as a result of their continuous exploration on the recurrent qualities in artworks of Documenta 14 and Skulptur Projekte Münster.
Everyone is welcome!
