The Ecologies of Participation (EoP) collaborative began in 2024 with a common interest in participatory practice across the discipline of fine arts, cultural studies, and urbanism/architecture. Over the past year, we have held panel talks and methods workshops with local and international scholars and practitioners across the fields, attracting audiences and participants from academia, the arts sectors and the general public.
For this round-up event, the public forum gathers past EoP speakers with new guests to further engage in conversations about the ideas and practices of participation, and the opportunities and challenges of practice-based research that intersects arts, architecture, and technology in the East and Southeast Asia region. The public forum will be held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, with programs including project presentations, roundtable discussions, and prototype demonstrations that consolidate the conceptual framework around technology-enabled participatory practices in urban space.
We sincerely invite you to join us on 25 April 2025 (Friday) for the EoP Public Forum with like-minded scholars and practitioners to foster a collaborative network in the region.
