The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing IT support to staff and students; (b) managing computer and audio-visual equipment; (c) maintaining and administering servers and networks; (d) overseeing the operation and maintenance of a teaching computer laboratory; (e) providing assistance in organising art exhibitions and events; (f) updating and managing the Department website; and (g) performing other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject; OR a Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in a relevant subject from a recognised university or technical institute, plus 3 years’ post-qualification work experience; (ii) a good command of English and Chinese; (iii) good knowledge of computer and AV equipment; (iv) a pleasant work attitude, team spirit, attentiveness to details and the willingness to learn; and (v) the ability to work independently and under pressure. Art-related experience will be an advantage.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
