The Faculty of Arts at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK Arts) successfully organised a career workshop exclusively for our undergraduates on October 30, 2024. We invited professional career coach and Head of People and Culture at KOS International, alumna Winnie Tam (2010/Translation/UC), to share her insights and practical insider tips on career building tailored for Arts students.
Through Winnie's career development experience as an arts and humanities graduate, students learned the importance of identifying their career interests. A lifelong learning attitude is essential for coping with today's technology-driven and fast-changing job market. Students were encouraged to explore and broaden their skill sets through their studies in the arts and humanities fields.
Another highlight of the workshop was the focus on establishing personal digital branding and networking. Students learned to master the tools and skills needed to optimize and promote their professional profiles, thereby preparing for internships and job opportunities.
The Faculty will continue to support our students in their career development, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to navigate their professional paths successfully.
