Arriving at CUHK from the Hong Kong International Airport
1. Via Metro: Airport MTR Station → University Station (HK$65)
Take the Airport Express Line to Tsing Yi station.
Switch to the Tung Chung Line (orange) towards Hong Kong.
Interchange at Nam Cheong, go to Platform 2 for Tuen Ma Line (brown) towards Wu Kai Sha.
Get off at Hung Hom station and switch to the East Rail Line (light blue) towards Lok Ma Chau/Lo Wu at Platform 1.
Get off at the University station.

2. Via Bus (HK$ 19-28)
Bus A41 + MTR (HK$28) / BUS E42+MTR (HK$19)
Take the Airport Bus A41 or E42 and get off at the Sha Tin Central Bus Terminal.
Walk to Sha Tin MTR station (5 minutes) and take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Lok Ma Chau/Lo Wu.
Get off at the University Station.

3. Via Taxi
Take a green taxi (New Territories Taxi, 新界的士) from the airport directly to The Chinese University of Hong Kong (approximately HK$370 - $440). The red urban taxi also works, but with a higher fee.
Arriving at CUHK from Shenzhen
1. Via Shenzhen Railway Station/Luohu Port 深圳站/羅湖口岸 (HK$30.2)
When you exit Shenzhen Station, you will see the sign “Hong Kong” guiding you towards Luohu Port. Please walk through the immigration and customs clearance at the station and arrive in Hong Kong. Then, please Take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Admiralty and get off at the University station.
2. Via Shenzhen North Railway Station and Futian Port 深圳北站/福田口岸 (HK$30.2)
If you take the high-speed rail to Shenzhen North Station, you can directly take Shenzhen Metro Line 4 to reach Futian Port, the terminal station. You will see the sign 'Hong Kong' guiding you towards Futian Port. Please Walk through immigration and arrive at the Lok Ma Chau Station. Then, please take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Admiralty and get off at the University station.
3. Via Shenzhen Baoan International Airport and Futian Port (RMB25 + HK$30.2)
At the Airport’s Arrival Gate 17, you can take the Airport Express A10 to Futian Port. Please walk through the immigration and customs clearance at the station and arrive at Lok Ma Chau Station. Then, please take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Admiralty and get off at the University station.
4. Via Hong Kong West Kwoloon Station 香港西九龍高速鐵路站 (HK$12.5)
If you take the high-speed train to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, you can go directly to Austin Station through the exit of West Kowloon Station. Please take the MTR Tuen Ma Line to Hung Hom Station, and then interchange from Hung Hom Station to the East Rail Line and get off at University Station.
Arriving at CUHK from Macau
From Macau: via Marine Ferry (HK$175-220 for economy class)
Please take a TurboJET ferry (噴射飛航) from Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal (澳門外港碼頭) or Taipa Ferry Terminal (氹仔客運碼頭) to Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, Sheung Wan(香港上環港澳碼頭). The journey lasts approximately 45 minutes, excluding immigration and customs clearance in Macau and Hong Kong. After arriving in Hong Kong, please take the Island line (blue) from the Sheung Wan MTR station. Please get off at Admiralty to switch to the East Rail (light blue) towards Lok Ma Chau/Lo Wu, and then get off at the University station. |
