Arriving at CUHK from the Hong Kong International Airport

1. Via Metro
Airport MTR Station --> University Station (HK$65)
Take the Airport Express Line to Tsing Yi station.
Switch to the Tung Chung Line (orange) towards Hong Kong.
Interchange at Nam Cheong, go to Platform 2 for Tuen Ma Line (brown) towards Wu Kai Sha.
Get off at Hung Hom station and switch to the East Rail Line (light blue) towards Lok Ma Chau/Lo Wu at Platform 1.
Get off at the University station.

2. Via Bus
Bus A41 + MTR (HK$27.8) / BUS E42+MTR (HK$18.8)
Take the Airport Bus A41 or E42 and get off at the Sha Tin Central Bus Terminal.
Walk to Sha Tin MTR station (5 minutes) and take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Lok Ma Chau/Lo Wu.
Get off at the University Station.

3. Via Taxi
Take a green taxi from the airport directly to The Chinese University of Hong Kong (approximately HK$370 - $440).
(Red taxi also works, but with a higher fee)

Arriving at CUHK from Shenzhen

1. Via Shenzhen Train Station (HK$28.7)
When you exit the train station, you will see the sign “Hong Kong” guiding you towards Luohu Customs (罗湖口岸). Walk through the immigration and customs clearance at the station and arrive at Hong Kong. Take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Hung Hom and get off at the University station.

2. Via Futian Port 福田口岸 (HK$28.7)
If you take the high-speed train to Shenzhen North Station, you can directly take Shenzhen Metro Line 4 to reach the terminal station Futian Port. You will see the sign 'Hong Kong' guiding you towards Futian Port. Walk through immigration and arrive at the Lok Ma Chau Station. Take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Admiralty and get off at the University station.

3. Via Shenzhen Airport (approximately HK$51)
At the Airport’s B District, you can take the shuttle bus, K568, to Luohu Train Station (罗湖火车站). Walk through the immigration and customs clearance at the station and arrive at Hong Kong. Take the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Hung Hom and get off at the University station.

4. Via Hung Hom (紅磡) Intercity Through-Train Terminus (HK$7.6)
If you are taking the MTR Intercity Through-Train to Hung Hom station, change to the MTR East Rail Line (light blue) towards Lok Ma Chau/Lo Wu and get off at the University station.

5. Via Hong Kong West Kwoloon Station 西九龙高铁站 (HK$11.8)
If you take the high-speed train from Shenzhen or Guangzhou to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, you can go directly to Austin Station through the exit of West Kowloon Station. Take the MTR Tuen Ma Line to Hung Hom Station and change from Hung Hom Station to the East Rail Line and get off at University Station.

Arriving at CUHK from Macau

Take a ferry from the Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal or the Macau Taipa Ferry Terminal to the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal. The journey lasts approximately 45 minutes, excluding immigration and customs clearance in Macau and Hong Kong. (Approximately HK$160-200 for economy class)

After arriving at Hong Kong, take the Island line (blue) from the Sheung Wan MTR station.
Get off at Admiralty, to switch to the East Rail (light blue) towards Lok Ma Chau/Lo Wu.
Get off at the University station.
