The programme specifically aims to provide advanced academic and practical instructions on music and its broader cultural contexts to equip students with the critical skills and acumen they need in order to thrive in their future endeavors. It is designed not only for individuals who currently work in the music field but also music lovers with strong musical backgrounds from other professions.
Fellowships are available for outstanding local students enrolled in MA in Music programme. Each fellowship awardee receives subsidy from the UGC and pays only HK$42,100 for tuition fee.

2021–22 Cong Quartet
- Applicants should have:
- graduated from a recognized university and obtained a Bachelor's degree, normally with honours not lower than Second Class or achieving an average grade of not lower than "B"; or
- completed a course of study in a tertiary educational institution and obtained professional or similar qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
- Applicants must also meet the "English Language Proficiency Requirement" as stipulated by the Graduate School. Please refer to the Graduate School website for details.

In addition to supporting documents as stipulated by the Graduate School, applicants should submit a Personal Statement of 300-500 words (in English). Please upload your personal statement to the Online Application System as one of the supporting documents.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
